Cargo airport in West Africa to be constructed

A US$100.51m cargo airport in Nigeria will be constructed in Nasarawa State,  governor Tanko Al-makura, has said. France boosts energy efficiency in East Africa

The French Development Agency (AFD) under the SUNREF programme has pledged to help in boosting energy efficiency in Uganda, the country’s Commissioner for Energy James Banabe has said. McKinsey urges construction industry in Africa to strengthen

Construction begins on largest gas power plant in sub-Saharan Africa

  Ghana has begun the construction of what it says will be the largest gas-fired power plant in sub-Saharan Africa to take advantage of the country’s rich reserves of natural gas. Construction At Avon Peaking Power Plant Resumes

Chinese firm begins the construction of police houses in Zambia

Chinese firm Avic International has been awarded a contract to construct 2, 350 houses in Zambia for police officers at the cost of US $320m. Uganda: Construction, Agro-Processing Dominate Top 100 Company List

Kenya: NCA Registers 18,000 Contractors
