Ethiopia to Raise $58 Million for the Construction of the Ethiopian Grand Renaissance Dam

Lobby group wants more consultations over new SGR route

Ethiopia: Ministry to Finalize Construction of 11 New Universities

Tanzania: PM Directs Local Governments to Hasten Road, Street Naming

Rwanda: Construction of U.S.$150 Million University Starts in Burera

Construction of Ethiopia’s tallest bank edifice undertaken by China progressing well

Nairobi-Naivasha SGR construction to cost Sh2 billion more

Australian business lifts profit at South Africa's top construction firm

 Wilson Bayly Holmes-Ovcon (WBHO), South Africa's biggest construction firm by market capitalisation, reported a 23.8 percent rise in full-year profit on Tuesday as a strong performance in Australia offset slow growth at home.   WBHO said in a statement that headline earnings per share (HEPS), South Africa's main profit gauge that excludes certain one-off and non-trading items, increased to 1,343 cents in the year to the end of June.... Ethiopia: Corporation to Undertake Sugar Factories Irrigation Infrastructure development

China and World Bank form firm to fund Africa projects

Ethiopia: Ankober-Dulecha Road Construction Launched

 The Ethiopian Road Authority said the construction of a- 40 kilo meter concrete asphalt road which links Amhara with Afar state has begun at a cost of 858.7 million Birr.   Authority Communication Director Samson Wondemu said local firm Sunshine Construction PLC would undertake the construction.   Explaining the economic significance of the road Samson said the new corridor would trim down the loop from Djibuti to Debre.... Portuguese construction firm to build new international airport in Rwanda
