USD 265 million bridge to be constructed over Lake Victoria by Tanzania

A contract worth USD 265 million for the construction of 3.2 km long bridge over the lake Victoria has signed by the Government of Tanzania. Two Chinese companies have been awarded this contract with the aim of increasing trade connectivity among the East African countries. Tanzania SGR project's final phase to be financed by China

Foreign Affairs Minister Mr Palamagamba Kabudi declared that Tanzania’s Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) project is going to receive fund from China. Tanzania receives a major dam in Lumakali announced by the Government of Tanzania

The government of Tanzania announces the construction of a major dam in Lumakali, Njombe District. Deputy Minister of Energy Mr Subira Mgalu declared the report and states that the authorities are currently involved in reviewing the feasibility study conducted in 1998. Tanzanian infrastructure gets a big boost with a USD 44.5 million allocation

Construction of BRT system in full swing in East Africa

Successful demonstration of BRT was done by Dar es Salaam, which is the first city to launch a BRT system in East Africa. Phase 1 construction of Dar Es Salaam SGR nears completion

Phase one works on US $1.9bn Dar Es Salaam Standard Gauge Railiway (SGR) between Dar es Salaam and Morogoro in Tanzania nears completion.
