$600m highway to link Kenya, Tanzania

 The East African Community is finalising plans for a transnational highway to link the Kenyan and Tanzanian coasts. Arab Contractors to implement $27m new road projects in Egypt

City Lodge to construct a $23m 3-star hotel Nairobi, Kenya

City Lodge Hotel Group has made plans to set up a US $23m 3-star hotel in Kenya at the Runda Estate. Angola s 1300km, Chinese-built railway is finished

Kenya: Mombasa Sets Aside Sh165 Million for Roads

THE Mombasa government has set aside Sh165 million to improve transport and infrastructure in Mombasa town. Eight projects have started. Governor Hassan Joho said the projects include reconstruction of existing roads, creating new ones and improving the city's drainage system.     Bridges, street lights and car parks will also be constructed. Kenya: Railway Project to Employ 30,000 Kenyans
